Certified Medical Officer

Dr. Asha Z. Robinson-Parks MD is a seasoned board-certified Family Medicine Physician with a depth of experience treating the full spectrum of patients from newborn to geriatric. Upon completion of her residency at Georgetown University she served as a clinical instructor to medical students and Residents at Georgetown University Department of Family Medicine in Student Health.  She subsequently served as the medical director in the underserved community of Anacostia in SE Washington, D.C. both at a community health clinic and at a clinic located at United Medical Center. She provided timely, compassionate, and appropriate access to healthcare utilizing both in-office and telemedicine-based care for the most vulnerable, isolated, and disenfranchised members of her community in both D.C. and Baltimore.

She has been a champion of compassionate reproductive wellness in young, adolescent, and adult women often interfacing with local law enforcement to dismantle efforts to funnel young girls into overlooked human trafficking schemes designed to target girls in urban settings.  She believes strongly in unearthing past sexual and physical abuse in order to facilitate emotional healing of her patients no matter their socioeconomic background. She maintained this commitment through her work at Mid Atlantic Permanente Medical Group as a Family Physician providing care across counties in Maryland and Virginia.

Knowing that immigrant communities often face the same challenges as other vulnerable communities she made it her mission to treat patients in various counties in Maryland including Prince George’s County, Montgomery County, and Frederick County Maryland.  A detail-oriented physician, she strives to discover the subtleties of patient needs and to empower patients to take an active role in pursuing their unique wellness identity.

In response to the growing need for primary care on a national level, she sees patients in 49 states through a national employee wellness enterprise featuring both telemedicine, onsite, and near site access to health care.  She values collaboration and a shared commitment to safety so that there is always clarity in the treatment plan for her patients. Dr. Robinson-Parks looks forward to completing her second decade of commitment to patients from all walks of life with an open heart and a discerning eye for the unique expression of humanity in every patient.
